These terms are the agreement between you and Telliport for the website at telliport.co, the Telliport app, and the calling and top-up services. The rates and countries on the site are part of this agreement, and so is the privacy page.
If you don't agree, don't create an account and don't use the app.
Telliport lets you call phone numbers in the countries we support, and send airtime or data to a mobile there. Right now that country is Nigeria. Ghana and Kenya are not available yet.
A call from the app is connected onto the phone network, so the other person's mobile or landline rings like a normal call. They don't need Telliport, and they don't need internet. You do need a connection on your side to place the call.
We don't promise every number will connect, or that a country we support today will stay on the list. If a call doesn't go through, you aren't charged for minutes you didn't get.
Telliport does not replace your normal phone. You cannot call the emergency services on it. Don't use it for 112, 911, 999, or any other emergency number. Keep another way to make those calls.
When you send airtime or data, we pass that to the person's mobile network. Once it has been delivered, that network's own rules apply to how they use it. We can't pull a completed top-up back if you typed the wrong number. Check the number before you pay.
You add credit and we take the cost of each call, and of each top-up, from that balance. There is no monthly fee. The price per minute is shown before you call, in the currency on your account.
Credit is for your own use. Don't sell it on. If a payment fails or we think it wasn't yours, we can hold the credit until that is sorted.
You need an account to use Telliport. The name and email you give us should be yours and should be real. Keep the password to yourself. You're responsible for calls and top-ups made from your account.
If you think someone else has the password, email hello@telliport.co and we'll lock it. Until we hear from you, charges on the account are still yours.
If you do any of that, we can stop the account. We don't have to refund credit that was used that way.
Calls depend on phone networks, and top-ups depend on the company that delivers airtime and data. Your own mobile operator may also charge you for the data the app uses. Those charges are between you and them.
Downloading the app from Apple or Google means you also accept their store rules.
You can stop using Telliport whenever you like. Write to support if you want the account closed.
We can suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if we need to for fraud or the law, or if we stop offering the service. If we close it without a breach on your side, we'll return unused credit that we can still pay out.
We work to keep calls and top-ups running. We don't guarantee they always will. We aren't liable for a call that doesn't connect, a network that is down, or a loss that comes from you using the service, beyond the amount you paid us for the thing that failed.
Nothing here takes away a right you have under the law that we can't set aside.
We can update these terms. The new version is published on this page. If the change matters, we'll email the address on your account before it applies. If you keep using Telliport after that, you've accepted the new terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the service and tell us to close the account.
